Job summary

Atmos Energy in Herington, KS is seeking a Construction Operator 1/2 or Sr Construction Operator to help install and maintain gas lines, meters, and regulators. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, with overtime, stand-by and call-out as required.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license; must obtain Operator Qualifications. Welding experience is preferred but not required. Benefits and a strong safety culture are highlighted in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the installation and maintenance of natural gas lines, meters and regulators.
• May assist in conducting leakage surveys.
• Completes and maintains accurate records and reports to comply with Company and regulatory requirements.
• May hold stand-by duty, work shifts, holidays, weekends and call-outs.
