Job summary

Atmos Energy Corporation in Kansas is seeking a Construction Operator at multiple levels, with a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:30 am–4:00 pm, and overtime/call-out as needed. The role involves installing and maintaining natural gas lines, meters, and regulators at the Herington location, with a residency requirement.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license. OQ training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license required per company standards.
OQ (Operator Qualifications) and classroom training required for position.
Effective communication with internal/external customers.

Responsibilities

Perform basic, routine work using clearly prescribed procedures; seek guidance for deviations.
Assist in installation and maintenance of natural gas lines, meters and regulators.
May assist in conducting leakage surveys and reporting as required.
Complete and maintain accurate records to comply with regulations.
May hold stand-by duty, work shifts, holidays, weekends, and emergency call-outs.
Ensure safety and proper operation of assigned vehicles and equipment.
