Job summary

Atmos Energy is seeking a Construction team member to support installation, maintenance and safety operations for natural gas lines and meters. You will assist in leakage surveys and keep accurate records for regulatory compliance.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and ongoing Operator Qualifications training. You will work outdoors in varying conditions and may travel as needed, contributing to a safe and efficient gas distribution network.

Qualifications

• Requires general educational knowledge normally acquired through a high school diploma or GED.
• Requires valid driver's license in accordance with Company standards.
• Must obtain and maintain Operator Qualifications (OQs) and related training.
• Ability to use company intranet for data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation and maintenance of natural gas lines, meters and regulators.
• May assist in leakage surveys and record-keeping to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Perform safety checks and operate company vehicles and equipment with care.
• Coordinate with internal/external customers and report safety and encroachment issues.
