Job summary

Anthony & Sylvan Pools is seeking a hands-on Construction Manager to lead the Division’s construction operations, develop processes to boost productivity, and keep projects moving safely and on schedule. You will manage Project Managers, subcontractors, and warranty staff while aligning with company standards and customer expectations.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in construction leadership, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong skills in leadership, communication, and P&L management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience successfully leading and managing employees in a construction-related environment; swimming pool industry experience preferred.
• Proven leadership skills to mentor, coach, develop, and engage employees; strong communication and customer service focus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and financial skills, including understanding of P&L management.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day construction operations and manage Project Managers, Schedulers, and warranty personnel to ensure safety, efficiency, schedule adherence, and budget compliance.
• Ensure consistent execution of construction policies, processes, quality standards, and training across teams.
• Manage workflow, capacity, and project performance; monitor cycle times, production, and costs; collaborate with Design Consultants to reduce sale-to-dig time.
• Review key metrics and drive continuous improvement to increase productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee subcontractor performance, capacity, negotiations, and issue resolution to meet production requirements.
• Provide financial oversight by reviewing monthly P&L and work-in-progress with attention to cost overruns and leakage.
• Escalate issues to leadership, coach staff, and maintain proactive customer communication.
• Other duties as assigned.
