Job summary

HK Contractors, a CRH Company, is seeking a Construction Operations Manager to organize, develop and oversee Western Idaho construction activities from Boise. You will manage superintendents, estimators and project managers, coordinating with asphalt, aggregate, and transport teams to achieve safety, quality and financial targets.

The role requires extensive civil construction leadership, scheduling, budgeting, and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is required.
• At least 7 years of advanced civil construction management experience.
• Experience in operations, scheduling and supervision is required.
• Knowledge of industry standards, project specs, and drawings is essential.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach staff; drive performance and accountability.
• Oversee daily construction operations, scheduling of equipment and manpower.
• Coordinate with plant managers, estimators, and project managers.
• Manage supervisors and field staff to meet safety and quality goals.
• Monitor backlog, schedules, and long-term project plans.
