Job summary

AKS Engineering & Forestry is seeking a Director of Operations for its construction services group in the United States. The role leads multi project operations, mentors leaders, and drives financial health and client outcomes.

You will partner with executive leadership to optimize project delivery, staffing, and business development while building strong client relationships and maintaining safety & quality standards across regions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive construction experience with increasing responsibility for project and/or operational leadership.
• Strong project management background with experience managing complex construction projects.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop project managers, construction managers and superintendents.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of the construction organization and align projects with company goals.
• Provide oversight to Project Managers, Construction Managers and field leaders to deliver safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Manage monthly forecasting, project financial performance, budgets, margins, and overall health of the division.
