Job summary

Optimum Communications Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to lead the development, implementation, and documentation of new construction projects.

You will oversee planning, pre-fielding, and scheduling, directing both subcontractor and in-house teams to ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery. The role requires strong supervisory abilities, field coordination, and a solid understanding of cable system construction practices.

Qualifications

• Five years of construction experience in cable systems.
• Two years' experience with MDU design and builds.
• Three years' manager/supervisor experience.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and site compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan construction with departments, utilities, builders and authorities.
• Direct subcontractor and in-house crews to meet schedules and budgets.
• Administer on-site quality inspections and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and manage staff, set workloads and priorities.
• Track progress, materials and vendor deliveries; report outcomes.
• Issue projects to subcontractors based on availability and expertise.
• Adjust plans when problems arise using technical knowledge.
• Maintain safe work environment and enforce safety rules.
