Furst Staffing is seeking an organized Construction Office Manager to handle bookkeeping, payroll, and day-to-day administration in a Monday-Friday schedule. The role emphasizes high-volume A/P and A/R, union documentation, and project accounting in a fast-paced construction office.
You will enter payroll data in QuickBooks, develop detailed spreadsheets, and manage AIA documents and general contractor paperwork while maintaining accurate records and timely payments.
Construction Office Manager - bookkeeping & administration. Manage project accounting, payroll, and administrative tasks in a Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM schedule.
Handle project accounting, including high-volume A/P and A/R
Process payroll, benefits, and union documentation
Submit workers, insurance, and benefits through the union portal
Enter payroll data into QuickBooks
Develop and maintain spreadsheets, tracking data, and accurate records
Work with AIA documents and general contractor paperwork
Follow up on payments with confidence, friendly, curious, persistent
Support day-to-day administrative needs of the construction office
Strong bookkeeping and administrative experience
Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
Comfortable communicating and following up with vendors and partners
Organized, proactive, able to manage multiple projects at once
Positive professional presence, seeking long‑term role
Proficient in QuickBooks
Very proficient in Microsoft Excel, formulas required
Experience with MS Word, Office 365, and email
