Job summary

bodwe Professional Services Group Companies seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to create final construction drawings and lead design efforts across projects. You will manage timelines, coordinate with clients, and ensure QA/QC throughout the construction process.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering and at least 3 years of mechanical design experience in AEC/construction, with strong Revit BIM skills and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical design engineering in AEC or construction industries.
• Proficiency in Revit for BIM modeling on various projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Produce design elements and final construction drawings per project specs.
• Coordinate timelines and design activity communications with the client and team.
• Assist in proposals and engineering agreements; provide project coordination.
• Ensure QA/QC processes are executed accurately and consistently.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers; participate in site visits as needed.
