Qualifications

• 0 years of related experience
• Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master degree in Civil Engineering, or other degree related to our services
• One certification must be completed within 90 days, and all basic certifications within 270 days, including Radiation Safety, Soils I, and Concrete I
• Valid driver’s license if driving for ECS
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Willingness to work in outdoor environments and field conditions
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 85 pounds multiple times per day

Responsibilities

• Assists with construction materials observation and testing activities in the field and laboratory
• Observes and participates in testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials
• Documents site conditions and testing results in field reports
• Prepares and organizes field and laboratory equipment
• Performs basic data entry, calculations, and data reduction
• Communicates with field staff, contractors, and project team members
• Keeps supervisors informed of changing site conditions or additional testing needs
• Reviews laboratory results and supports project documentation
• Supports laboratory testing activities including sample preparation, curing, and testing
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work areas
• Notifies supervisors of damaged or missing equipment
• Attends project meetings with senior staff
• Performs other duties as assigned
