Job summary

ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Intern Level I to observe and assist with routine field and laboratory testing tasks. You will collect data, document results, and learn testing methods under supervision, while upholding ECS Core Values.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an engineering degree, can work independently or with a team, and are willing to work outdoors. Relocation is not provided for this position.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Must complete certifications within specified introductory periods (Radiation Safety, Soils I, Concrete I).
• Driver's license required if driving for ECS subsidiary.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field and laboratory testing activities in the field and lab.
• Observe testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, and other materials.
• Document site conditions and test results in field reports.
• Prepare and organize field and lab equipment.
• Perform basic data entry, calculations, and data reduction.
