Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Intern Level I to assist field and laboratory testing for ongoing projects. You will help with data collection, documentation, and basic testing under supervision while learning soil, concrete, asphalt, and related materials testing methods.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with the ability to obtain required certifications within 270 days and a valid

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Certification requirements must be started within 90 days and completed within 270 days.
• Must have a valid driver's license if driving for ECS subsidiaries.

Responsibilities

• Assists with construction materials observation and testing activities in the field and laboratory
• Documents site conditions and testing results accurately in field reports
• Assists with the preparation and organization of field and laboratory equipment
• Performs basic data entry, calculations, and data reduction tasks
• Communicates with field staff, contractors, and project team members
• Attends project meetings with senior staff as requested
