McClelland Consulting Engineers (MCE), an ESP Company, is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician in Little Rock, AR. The role involves QC/QA testing on civil engineering projects, calibration of lab and field equipment, and readiness for both field and lab duties.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean lab area, supporting day-to-day field operations, and adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform QC/QA testing on Civil Engineering projects
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory and field-testing equipment.
• Obtain/maintain certifications for performing field and laboratory construction materials testing through a program approved by a State DOT (CTTP). First certification paid by McClelland Consulting Engineers, Inc.
• Operate and maintain a company truck during working hours.
• Be prepared for field and lab work
• Keep Lab area clean and workable.
• Reports to the CMT Supervisor for field work and day-to-day operations.
• Responds to requests of Lab Supervisor regarding laboratory activities needed.
• Aids in ordering and obtaining supplies for materials lab.
• Always strive to improve your job performance.
• Be cordial and patient with all fellow employees, owners/clients, and others associated with your job.
• Perform all other duties as requested by the CMT Supervisor not covered in this description above, but necessary to ensure an effective operation of MCE on a continuing basis.
