Job summary

ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking an Intern in Fayetteville, AR to support Civil Engineering lab activities and QC/QA testing under supervision.

You will calibrate and maintain lab equipment, assist with field and lab work, and help maintain organized spaces while learning regulatory requirements and safety practices in a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform QC/QA testing on Civil Engineering projects.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory and field-testing equipment.
• Obtain/maintain certifications for field and laboratory testing per State DOT approval.
• Operate and maintain a company truck during working hours.
• Be prepared for field and lab work.
• Keep Lab area clean and workable.
• Reports to the CMT Supervisor for field work and day-to-day operations.
• Responds to requests of Lab Supervisor regarding laboratory activities.
• Aids in ordering and obtaining supplies for materials lab.
• Always strive to improve job performance.
• Be cordial with all fellow employees, owners/clients, and others associated with your job.
• Perform all other duties as requested by the CMT Supervisor.
