Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Prior construction, inspection, or field-testing experience is preferred.
• Certifications such as ACI Level I, State DOT, WACEL, ICC, or similar are a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, and masonry materials.
• Conduct construction inspections and document observations.
• Prepare accurate field reports and record test results electronically.
• Perform basic laboratory testing on soil and concrete samples.
• Evaluate site and subgrade conditions and provide recommendations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, engineers, and project teams.
