Job summary

NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC seeks a Project Manager to oversee Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspection projects from our Tallahassee, FL office. You will supervise field engineering tasks, coordinate testing, prepare reports, and liaise with clients to ensure project goals are met.

Preferred candidates have 5+ years in materials testing or inspections, familiarity with ACI/ICC certifications is a plus, and a civil engineering background is helpful.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction materials testing and/or special inspections is required.
• ACI, ICC or other related certifications a plus.
• Metafield experience a plus.
• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering a plus (not required).

• Field engineering duties including data reduction, analysis & fieldwork for projects (CMT/Inspection).
• Assisting with project management & reporting.
• Field inspection, sampling & testing of soils, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, etc.

NOVA Engineering is seeking a Project Manager to work on Construction Materials Testing & Special Inspection projects in Tallahassee, FL office.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Field engineering duties including data reduction, analysis & fieldwork for commercial, industrial, retail, government, office and residential projects (Construction Materials Testing/Inspection)
• Assisting with project management & reporting
• Field inspection, sampling & testing of soils, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, etc.
• Report preparation
• Client consultation and maintenance
• Providing assistance to other NOVA team members to promote the overall objectives of the company.

The preferred candidate will have:

• 5+ years of experience in construction materials testing and/or special inspections is required
• ACI, ICC or other related certifications a plus
• Metafield experience a plus
• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering a plus (not required)
