Job summary

JP Donovan Construction is seeking a detail oriented Procurement assistant to obtain quotes from approved suppliers and ensure quotes meet contract requirements and production schedules. The role involves updating records, following up with suppliers, and drafting requisitions while working in the field with the crew onsite.

You will collaborate with managers on material specifications, verify drawings against POs, and maintain inventory records to support timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
• Basic math and recording abilities

• Ability to read blueprints is preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Managers on material specifications and expected delivery dates.
• Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control as necessary.
• Verify drawings against purchase order (quantity, specs, etc.).
• Contact suppliers via email and phone.
• Draft Purchase requisition forms for procurement.
