Construction Company is seeking a highly organized Materials Sourcing Assistant to coordinate the sourcing, pricing, and ordering of materials for our construction projects in Philadelphia. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, be able to work fast, and have a problem-solving ability. Familiarity with construction vendors is a plus. This is a remote position offering opportunities for training and advancement. Bonus based on performance is available.

Responsibilities

• Source construction materials across all trades (lumber, drywall, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
• Contact suppliers for pricing, availability, and lead times
• Compare pricing to ensure the best cost options
• Place orders and coordinate deliveries to job sites
• Track material orders and update the team on status
• Build relationships with suppliers in NJ, PA, and the surrounding areas
• Work closely with project managers and the field team

Requirements

• Experience in construction, supply houses, or material sourcing is preferred, but not required
• Strong communication skills (phone + email)
• Ability to work fast and stay organized
• Familiar with vendors like Home Depot, Lowe’s, and local supply houses
• Problem solver who can find materials quickly when issues come up
