Job summary

CIMCO Refrigeration Inc. in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to support project material planning, procurement, and supplier coordination.

You will review drawings, prepare material takeoffs focused on piping, valves, fittings, and equipment, and enter BOMs and project data into SAP to keep schedules on track. The ideal candidate has an Associate's or Bachelor's in a related field, 3+ years in purchasing or material planning, and strong Excel/ERP/SAP experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field as listed.
• 3+ years of purchasing, procurement, material planning or project coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and engineering documentation.
• Experience with material takeoffs and BOM validation.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/SAP systems.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and documents to identify material requirements.
• Take detailed material takeoffs focused on piping, valves, fittings, and equipment.
• Verify quantities, specs and scope prior to procurement.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare RFQs and evaluate supplier quotations for best value.
• Create and manage purchase orders in SAP and track delivery schedules.
• Monitor lead times and coordinate with project teams to prevent shortages.
• Maintain material master data in SAP and support ERP improvements.
