Job summary

PTS Advance is seeking an experienced Field Materials Manager to oversee receiving, inspection, storage, tracking, and transfer of materials at project sites. This leadership role requires organization, attention to detail, and strong materials management experience in engineering and construction.

The role involves coordinating delivery schedules, overseeing receiving processes, maintaining MRRs/OS&D reports, and developing site logistics plans.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of direct materials management experience in engineering and construction.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Experience with Primavera scheduling reports and material/submittal tracking reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate material delivery schedules between project sites and the Procurement team.
• Direct and oversee the receiving process for incoming materials and equipment.
• Inspect materials and equipment upon delivery and document conditions.
• Manage Material Receiving Reports (MRRs) and OS&D reports.
• Prepare and present material status reports to verify shipments are on schedule.
• Develop and maintain site logistics plans.
• Oversee project warehouses and laydown yards.
• Manage storage and maintenance of materials and equipment.
• Assist QA/QC teams with preventive maintenance and recordkeeping.
• Oversee transfer of materials and equipment to designated subcontractors.
• Identify and communicate material issues that could affect cost, schedule, or client relationships.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Field Materials Coordinators.

This is a key field leadership role for an organized, detail-oriented professional with strong materials management experience in the engineering and construction industry.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate material delivery schedules between project sites and the Procurement team.
