Job summary

Kleinfelder's Construction Services team in California is seeking a Laboratory Construction Materials Testing Technician. The role focuses on testing soils, asphalt, aggregates, and concrete in the laboratory to verify conformance with project specs and geotechnical purposes.

Opportunity to develop certifications and grow within a fast-paced, collaborative team. Primary work will be at the Sacramento/Stockton area laboratories; travel to local projects is required.

Qualifications

• Must have strong initiative and attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex testing of construction materials in the laboratory (soils, asphalt, aggregates, concrete).
• Verify conformance to plans and specifications and geotechnical purposes.
• Travel locally to fulfill project assignments and support the Hayward Laboratory.
• Maintain accurate records and data entry using MS Office tools.
