Step into Your New Role
Kleinfelder is seeking an Onsite Laboratory Technician to perform testing, coordinate, manage quality, and oversee activities at our lab in Seattle, WA. This full-time temporary position offers the possibility of becoming a regular employee after 2 months.
We provide construction inspection and material testing services to diverse clients. We seek individuals interested in joining a dynamic team and building a career in construction inspection and materials testing.
We desire a proactive individual to perform routine to complex testing of construction materials in the laboratory, verifying conformance to plans, specifications, and geotechnical purposes.
The Technician will test soils, asphalt, aggregates, and concrete materials. Attention to detail is essential. The Technician may perform various tasks as directed by the supervisor.

The successful candidate will be encouraged to expand skills and certifications through company training and mentoring. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful, fast-paced team with a growing backlog of large projects.
Must be proficient with computers and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Must own a vehicle, hold a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record. The primary work location is the Seattle Office Laboratory, with occasional local travel required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
