Job Description

This is a remote position with travel up to 90% of the time. Ideal candidate should live close to a US airport.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

The starting base salary range for this position is $46,480 - $69,025, determined by experience, skills, education, performance, licenses/certifications, and other factors. POSITION SUMMARY:

This role supports SICK Services and Products throughout North America.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide excellent customer service by managing expectations effectively.
  • Support various Service Organization programs.
  • Build support structures and install SICK equipment, requiring hand tools and basic construction knowledge.
  • Make electrical connections of SICK equipment.
  • Configure products using laptops and software.
  • Perform onsite commissioning, start-up support, monitor operation, and adjust as needed.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and replace equipment.
  • Maintain regular attendance and timeliness.
  • Provide accurate service reports, timecards, and travel expenses.
  • Attend training sessions as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

  • Two-year college degree, technical school, or equivalent experience required. A four-year degree is preferred.
  • 0–3 years of field service experience.

Other Qualifications:

  • This is a travel-intensive role requiring domestic and international travel up to 85% of the time.
  • Availability for alternative schedules including weekends, nights, and on-call hours.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Legally permitted to work in the U.S.
POSITION SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Complete logistics automation training.
  • Complete all assigned SICK training modules.
  • Install and commission scanners and systems as specified.
  • Knowledge of SOPAS and CLV setup software.
  • Ability to read CAD designs, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Complete administrative tasks and work in a team environment.
