TTL is hiring a Construction Materials Laboratory Technician in Tuscaloosa, AL. You will perform laboratory tests on soils, aggregates, concrete, and related materials following ASTM and AASHTO standards, under supervision, and compile precise data and reports.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (college coursework preferred), proficiency in MS Office, and familiarity with Bentley gINT and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Bentley gINT and AutoCAD preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Develop skills for specialized laboratory testing.
• Compile accurate data, reports, and analyses.
• Perform calculations using basic math.
• Maintain laboratory instruments per ASTM standards.
• Follow ASTM/AASHTO procedures and safety rules.
• Calibrate testing equipment as required and document records.
• Address proficiency testing non-conformities.
• Conduct on-site testing during AMRL/CCRL visits.
• Attend weekly safety meetings and maintain a clean work area.
