Job summary

A construction services company in Canton, Georgia is seeking a Laboratory Manager to oversee operations in their AASHTO-certified laboratory. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in construction materials testing, preferably in a laboratory setting.
• EIT or GIT certificate, 40-Hour HAZWOPER and 8-hour Refreshers, other ACI or relevant certificates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, track, and report results for construction materials samples.
• Run relevant tests and monitor other staff members assisting with tests.
• Manage system to ensure timely testing and reporting of all samples.
• Ensure laboratory remains organized and clean.

Skills

Construction materials testing

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, construction management or related field
