Job Details

Responsibilities
  • Conducting laboratory and field testing of construction materials such as soil, concrete, and asphalt.
  • Reviewing project specifications to determine appropriate testing methods and procedures.
  • Documenting test results and preparing detailed reports, including analysis and interpretation of data.
  • Consulting with project teams and clients to provide technical guidance and recommendations based on test results.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.
  • Maintaining and calibrating testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Participating in project meetings and providing input on material selection, design, and construction methods.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to resolve material-related issues and challenges.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in construction material testing techniques and technologies.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in construction materials testing.
  • ACI Field Grade 1 certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with standard testing procedures and protocols for construction materials.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in operating testing equipment and relevant software.
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to various project sites.
