Job summary

Gator Gypsum, Inc. in Daytona Beach is seeking an Inside Sales professional to provide product knowledge on drywall, insulation, metal studs, ceilings, stucco, and related accessories. You will take orders, build relationships with customers, and use the company system to enter orders.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Outside Sales and Sales Managers, handling quotes, credit terms, and reports while developing product knowledge to assist customers and drive sales growth.

Qualifications

• Team player with attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Industry/product knowledge a plus.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take orders at the sales counter and over the phone.
• Build relationships with customers.
• Enter orders into the company computer system.
• Complete sales orders and tender cash sales.
• Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers on strategic approaches.
• Overcome objections of prospective customers.
• Quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms/reports.
