Pape-Dawson Engineers in Plano, TX seeks a Construction Manager to oversee infrastructure projects from pre-construction through closeout, managing scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 6 years of progressive construction management experience.
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated capability coordinating with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality to support on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Lead project administration activities such as RFIs, submittals, change management, pay applications, and closeout documentation.
  • Coordinate with contractors, clients, agencies, and internal disciplines to resolve issues and maintain progress.
  • Support constructability reviews, value engineering, commissioning, startup, and owner training.
  • Maintain and review project documentation and reporting to track progress, compliance, and risks.
  • Directly supervise construction managers, inspectors, resident project representatives, field engineers, and field services personnel.
