Job summary

Decima International seeks a driven Construction Manager for Utility Power & Data Center Infrastructure, on-site in Texas (Amarillo or South Padre Island). You will lead field teams across power generation, substations, and energized systems, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

You will coordinate with clients, utility providers, and engineers to deliver mission-critical facilities. A strong background in hyperscale data centers and energy systems is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction management experience, including utility infrastructure and data center projects.
• Strong knowledge of power generation, transmission, substations, and medium- to high-voltage systems.
• Experience coordinating with utility providers, engineers, and authorities; safety and quality focused.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction activities for utility power infrastructure supporting large-scale data center developments.
• Develop, manage, and report on scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, and energization milestones.
• Coordinate with owners, utility providers, engineers, contractors, and operations teams.
• Prepare project plans, RFPs, and procurement documentation; ensure compliance with standards.
• Facilitate client and sponsor decision-making and manage change as needed.
• Oversee vendor performance and contract compliance; review pay applications and invoices.
• Lead meetings (daily coordination, weekly reviews, OAC) and maintain minutes.
• Ensure OSHA NFPA 70E, NEC, NESC, IEEE standards compliance; support energization and commissioning.
