Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related fields.
• 10+ years of experience in construction procurement, sourcing, or related roles.
• Experience supporting large construction or capital projects with complex scopes.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, bid leveling, and delivery tracking.
• Ability to review scopes, drawings, specifications, pricing, and terms.
• Experience coordinating procurement with owners, GC/CM teams, vendors, and client stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, organization, and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with procurement platforms such as Procore, Unifier, e-Builder, Kahua, Oracle, SAP, Coupa, Smartsheet, or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Act as the owner’s representative for procurement activities on large-scale construction projects.
• Support procurement planning aligned with project scope, budget, schedule, contracting strategy, and on-site dates.
• Provide Owner-side oversight of GC/CM procurement activities and risk reviews.
• Support Owner-direct procurement activities including OFCI/OFOI equipment and professional services.
• Review procurement packages, scopes, drawings, specifications, proposals, and terms for decision-making.
• Evaluate contractor and vendor proposals for alignment with scope, budget, schedule, and delivery.
• Track long-lead equipment and critical items to support sequencing and turnover.
• Maintain procurement logs for owner-direct packages and procurement status.
• Analyze vendor availability, lead times, pricing risks, and supply chain constraints.
• Identify procurement risks early and elevate issues affecting cost or schedule.
• Coordinate with project teams on priorities, approvals, and decisions.
• Partner with the Contracts Manager to ensure alignment with Owner’s interests.
• Monitor procurement performance against key commitments and delivery requirements.
• Prepare procurement status reports, risk summaries, and decision logs.
• Support resolution of procurement issues and closeout activities.
