Job summary

Decima International seeks a driven Construction Manager (Civil, Structural, Architectural) to lead data center development across multiple sites in Texas and oversee client relations, design, engineering, controls, and project delivery from start to finish.

This role requires 10+ years of CM experience, strong communication with technical and executive audiences, and ability to manage multiple projects across regions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction management experience in mission-critical environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction, civil engineering, structural engineering, architectural engineering, or related technical field.
• Experience in hyperscale data center development and construction.
• Experience in client-facing roles and communicating to both technical and executive audiences.
• Strong understanding of pre-design, pre-construction, contract management, project delivery methods, and building systems/components.

Responsibilities

• Be well-versed in modern project management techniques within complex, multi-functional organizations; understand engineering, design, procurement, contracting, safety, construction, and commissioning.
• Establish strong relationships with clients and communicate effectively with technical and management-level personnel.
• Manage assigned work from start to close-out across all aspects of project delivery.
• Prepare presentations and reports on progress, findings, and recommendations.
• Review project plans, requirements, and specifications.
• Prepare RFPs and support contractor selection and contract award processes.
• Develop CPM baseline schedules with contractors.
• Perform resource analyses to identify bottlenecks and constraints.
• Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities; advise stakeholders on mitigation.
• Lead project meetings and maintain meeting minutes and action items.
• Review progress, pay applications, and invoices.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site surveys, and liaise with designers/engineers/CMs.
