Placed is hiring on behalf of a global developer and owner-operator for a senior on-site Construction Manager role in the St. Louis area. You will act as the owner's senior on-site representative, directing the general contractor and trades across ground-up data center builds.

This role requires 8+ years in construction management with data center experience, a proven track record managing field teams, and the ability to operate autonomously within a lean, entrepreneur-led environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in construction management with ground-up delivery.
• Experience building data halls and hyperscale or large-scale mission critical projects.
• Authorized to work in the US without current or future visa sponsorship; willing to relocate to St. Louis.

• Manage schedule, procurement sequencing and long-lead equipment to protect delivery milestones.
• Report progress, risk and cost position to senior leadership.

Job description

We're hiring on behalf of a global developer and owner-operator building out a US hyperscale data center platform. This is owner-side work - you'll represent the owner on site, directing the general contractor and trades, rather than delivering someone else's scope.

Each site has its own dedicated Construction Manager. You'll be based in one location and own it, not rotating between states.

The platform is scaling quickly and the team is deliberately lean, so this suits someone who's comfortable making decisions, setting up their own processes and operating without a large corporate structure behind them.

What you'll do

• Own construction delivery on ground-up data center builds as the owner's senior representative on site
• Lead and manage the field team day to day across CSA and MEP scopes

What we're looking for

• Strong track record managing GC and subcontractor relationships on site
• Authorized to work in the US without current or future visa sponsorship
• A stable employment history with a record of seeing projects through
• Based in or willing to relocate to the St. Louis area - this is a site-based role, not a travel rotation
