Job summary

Stantec’s Colorado Construction Management Group seeks a highly motivated Project Manager with heavy civil transportation construction experience. Based anywhere in Colorado, you’ll monitor on-site work, lead a diverse team, and advise clients on risks and remedial actions.

Strong leadership, safety culture, and contract knowledge are essential. You will manage multiple projects, coordinate with contractors and clients, and contribute to pre-construction planning, scheduling, and cost reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• PE license in Colorado or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 10 years’ experience in heavy civil transportation construction, 5 in leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction management leadership to the project team.
• Oversee project controls, inspectors, and administration staff.
• Monitor schedule, budget, and compliance with contract specifications.
• Lead preparation and coordination of project deliverables and reports.
• Support pre-construction activities and risk management.
