Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Construction Manager to provide qualified management of program construction activities in a fast-paced design and delivery environment.

You will coordinate daily onsite activities with the owner, contractors and design professionals, develop schedules, review plans and closeout documentation, and promote a safe, efficient worksite. A bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ CM experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of construction management experience.
• OSHA and MSHA training and certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily onsite construction activities with owner, contractors, and design professionals.
• Develops and monitors project schedules; reports deviations and recommends changes.
• Reviews plans, RFIs, submittals, and pay applications; ensures QA/QC compliance.
• Maintains records and prepares final documentation for closeout.
• Promotes safety and mentors construction administration staff.
