Job summary

Qualifications

• 6+ years in power generation or energy construction.
• 10+ years in construction management on large power plant projects.
• Knowledge of ANSI, ACI, NEC quality standards.
• Ability to manage large contract scope.
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education/certs applicable.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of construction project at the project site including budgets and schedules.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and work timetables for scope not in the EPC contract.
• Interpret EPC contract and work with main contractor through commercial operation.
• Report progress and budgets to management via standard processes.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors and the operations team at site.
• Work with main EPC contractor to understand schedule and percent complete.
• Approve monthly invoices from the EPC contractor; communicate with exec management via reports.
• Respond to delays, emergencies, and RFIs.
• Comply with legal requirements, building and safety codes.
• Work with operations staff for plant turnover.
