The Construction Manager will be responsible for oversight of the EPC contractor during all aspects of the project to ensure safe, on-time and on-budget project completion in accordance with design specifications and Vistra fleet standards. The Construction Manager will be responsible for all field related issues for the project from breaking ground to commercial operation. The Construction Manager will be responsible for oversight of the EPC contractor during all aspects of the project and ensure all Vistra responsibilities are met on schedule during construction.**Job Description**## Key Accountabilities•Manage all aspects of construction project at the project site including budgets and schedules. Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed and maintained.•Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and work timetables for any scope of work not included in the EPC contract•Interpret and understand the main EPC contract and technical information to work with main contractor through commercial operation•Report work progress and budget matters to management via standard processes and procedures•Collaborate with engineers, contractors and the operations team at site (if applicable)•Work with main EPC contractor to understand schedule and justify percent complete•Understand and approve monthly invoices from the EPC contractor for payment.
