Job summary

Epcon in Santa Barbara, CA is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee two microgrid solar + battery projects on-site and ensure seamless mobilization through commissioning. Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction management on renewable energy or electrical infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing commercial or utility-scale solar construction projects is preferred.
• BESS/microgrid experience is highly valued.
• Strong scheduling, coordination, safety, and quality management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onsite construction from mobilization to commissioning.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel for safe, efficient execution.
• Maintain schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety compliance.
• Lead daily site meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
• Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders; resolve field issues.
