Job summary

Egis is seeking a Construction Manager for its Oklahoma City, OK office. Lead project teams, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and serve as the primary client liaison to deliver transportation and infrastructure projects across civil, traffic, and aviation domains.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, a PE license or CCM, 10+ years of combined construction and design leadership, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Bluebeam is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a strong knowledge of civil/traffic/aviation engineering concepts.
• PE with a Civil Engineer license or a CCM.
• 10+ years of experience in construction, design, engineering, and project management including leading projects and staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Bluebeam software.
• Familiarity with DOT Standards, APWA Greenbook, MUTCD, and related design standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects, assignments and pursuits; primary client liaison.
• Oversee project team to deliver scope on schedule and within budget.
• Lead development of project proposals and interview presentations.
• Interface with clients and create new business opportunities.
• Lead a project team for preparation of design documents, technical plans, and reports.
• Provide roadway design guidance and manage project development and staff mentoring.
• Evaluate design options using best engineering practices.
• Check plans, calculations, and cost estimates for accuracy and conformance.
• Ensure QA/QC through development and review of plans and specs.
