Gwinnett County Government seeks a Construction Manager II to lead security project management within the Water Resources Training & Safety section. You will plan, coordinate, and manage security audits, repairs, and capital projects across the department, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders.

The Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources is a publicly-owned utility, committed to providing excellent water, waste water and storm water services at the best possible value to the citizens of Gwinnett County. The department is widely recognized for service excellence in the operation of two water production facilities, three water reclamation facilities and over 200 pump stations. In addition, DWR maintains 3,667 miles of water lines, 2,654 miles of sewer lines and 1,325 miles of storm water pipe. The Department of Water Resources takes pride in stewardship of the environmental resources entrusted to us and pledge to be responsible as we manage water as a limited, but renewable, resource. This position is responsible for supporting the needs of Water Resources’ Training & Safety section which include but are not limited to planning, coordinating, and managing security audits, repairs, and capital projects throughout the Department of Water Resources. Incumbent is expected to simultaneously assist in the management of multiple projects that may have varying degrees of complexity.
