Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) in Pullman, WA is seeking a Construction Manager I to coordinate small construction projects and support larger initiatives within our General Construction team. You will create, maintain, and monitor project files, including budgets, schedules, bids, contracts, submittals, RFIs, ASIs, and change orders.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
• Typically 2 years of related experience in a professional setting
• Excellent coordination, organization, and prioritizing skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Project
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Work under general supervision to coordinate small construction projects and assist with medium- to large-scale projects.
