Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking a Construction Manager I to join the General Construction team in Pullman, WA. You will coordinate with construction, design, and maintenance teams to meet project objectives and support SEL’s mission of safer, more reliable power.

You’ll manage budgets, schedules, submittals, RFIs, and changes, while cultivating strong contractor relationships and effective cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture is a plus.
• Experience coordinating projects and documenting progress with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate small construction projects and assist with larger ones.
• Maintain project files: budgets, schedules, bids, contracts and submittals.
• Manage contractor relationships and ensure alignment with objectives.
