Texas Materials, a CRH company, seeks an experienced Construction Manager to lead highway construction and asphalt/concrete projects in Texas. The role collaborates with senior management to deliver on time and within budget.

You will supervise crews, manage safety programs, oversee budgeting and procurement, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors. A bachelor’s in construction management and a valid driver’s license are required, with proven leadership in heavy civil construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or equivalent experience.
• Valid state driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience with highway construction or related duties.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working culture for all employees and field personnel.
• Serve as project manager for construction crews, setting objectives and standards.
• Coordinate with prime client and subcontractors to facilitate activities.
• Monitor schedule and budget; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Develop and maintain backlog for operations and assist bidding.
• Interface with maintenance, suppliers, and owners as required.
• Oversee financial aspects of contracts and protect company interests.
• Recruit, hire, train, and discipline employees; travel and overtime as needed.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/MSHA regulations and safety procedures.
