Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a Construction Manager to lead highway construction projects, asphalt and concrete operations, and field teams. You will drive safety, scheduling, budgeting, and client coordination while maintaining high-quality standards and compliant practices.

The role requires strategic oversight, collaboration with senior management, and a hands-on approach to ensure on-time delivery and cost discipline across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Valid state driver's license and clean driving record.
• Proven experience in highway/construction management or similar duties.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working culture and oversee safety for crews.
• Act as project manager for construction teams; set objectives, policies and standards.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and vendors to facilitate construction activities.
• Monitor project progress, schedule and budget; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Analyze change orders and maintain backlog for operations.
• Develop teams and promote a culture of quality and accountability.
• Assist in bidding, provide guidance, and ensure compliant operations.
