Job summary

San Ysidro Health is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead planning, budgeting, and oversight of construction and tenant improvement projects for its health centers. You will supervise contractors, coordinate with architects, ensure MEP systems meet codes, and maintain schedules and budgets to open facilities on time.

The role requires a CA General Building Contractor License, a valid CA driver's license, and Auto CAD knowledge, with at least two years of supervisory construction

Qualifications

• 2 years of increasing construction supervisory experience.
• Auto CAD knowledge.
• Valid California Driver's License and insured vehicle.
• State of CA General Building Contractor License.

Responsibilities

• Plan construction, tenant improvement and minor renovation projects in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
• Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building, OSHPD, and safety codes and other regulations.
• Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to SYHealth staff, contracted workers and clients representing the owner.
• Assist with the preparation of contracts and negotiate revisions changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Interface with multi-jurisdictional building department staff to submit plans for plan review, revise plans per department feedback and obtain all necessary permits and licenses.
• Direct and supervise contractors, subcontractors, and in some cases SYHealth Plant Support staff as required by the project.
