Job summary

Epic HCM in Burbank, CA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead healthcare construction projects. You will work with a team of PMs to deliver complex projects with top quality, safety, and client service.

Responsibilities include managing multi-phase delivery, coordinating with contractors and vendors, monitoring schedules and budgets, and ensuring safety and compliance across all sites. Strong leadership and communication are essential to mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in healthcare construction.
• Experience with healthcare-focused GC or construction management firms.
• Ability to manage large, complex projects from start to finish.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations (OSHPD, ICRA, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day execution of multi-phase healthcare construction projects, on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, consultants and vendors to drive progress.
• Monitor schedules and budgets, provide regular updates, flag risks.
• Review plans and specs to develop informed solutions.
• Oversee procurement, inspections, permits and approvals with authorities.
• Ensure sites are safe, compliant with safety and quality standards.
• Communicate technically with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of construction methods and procedures.
• Escalate on-site issues to Senior Construction Manager with clear info.

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 5+ years of healthcare construction experience to join our growing team in Burbank, CA. You will work within a team of project managers and , helping deliver complex healthcare construction projects with the highest standards of quality, safety, and client service.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day execution of multi-phase healthcare construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract specifications
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, consultants, and vendors to drive project progress and resolve field issues in a timely manner
• Monitor project schedules and budgets, providing regular updates to the owner flagging risks proactively
• Review plans, technical documents, and specifications to develop informed solutions and support sound decision-making
• Manage procurement and oversight of inspections, permits, and approvals required by local authorities and agencies throughout all construction phases
• Ensure all job sites remain safe, clean, and compliant with applicable safety and quality standards
• Communicate clearly and effectively on technical construction issues with both internal teams and external stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement efforts by contributing to standardized construction methods, procedures, and best practices
• Escalate on-site issues and emergencies to the Senior Construction Manager with clear, actionable information

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of project management experience in healthcare construction, required
• Prior experience working for a healthcare-focused general contractor or construction management firm
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, complex construction projects from start to finish
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques specific to healthcare environments (OSHPD, ICRA/ etc.)
• Proficiency in construction estimating software and project management tools
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and technical documents
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to collaborate across teams and mentor junior staff
