Job summary

Family Health Centers of San Diego is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead full lifecycle for complex, multi-site clinic construction. The CPM acts as owner’s representative, guiding design, construction, and closeout with advanced architectural and engineering knowledge.

You will manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and regulatory compliance (HCAI/OSHPD), coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and city officials to ensure life safety and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction project management experience with budgets above $2 million.
• 2+ years in healthcare facility construction or FQHC environments preferred.
• Experience in medical clinic ground-up construction, tenant improvements, and multi-site programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of the project development lifecycle for capital and tenant improvement projects.
• Coordinate scope, milestones, budgets, and schedules across multiple sites.
• Serve as primary client-facing contact for vendors, consultants, and regulators.
• Ensure quality, infection control, and Life Safety Code compliance during construction.
• Oversee procurement, change orders, and contract management per regulations.
• Report progress to leadership with clear status updates.
