Job summary

Chase Construction Group, based in Nashville, seeks an experienced Construction Manager with 3–5 years of commercial construction background to lead projects from pre-construction through closeout. You will manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors and client expectations in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, results-driven and skilled at building relationships with clients and teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience managing commercial construction projects.
• Experience with commercial general contractors or construction managers.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs and contracts.
• Strong communication, negotiation, leadership and organizational skills.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, procurement and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of commercial construction projects, from pre-construction through closeout.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, vendors and clients.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement, contracts, change orders and documentation.
• Forecast manpower, materials and equipment needs to keep projects moving.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, safety, quality and compliance with requirements.
• Track costs, schedules and milestones and address challenges proactively.
• Review drawings, specs and contracts to support execution.
• Ensure regulatory, contractual and safety compliance.
• Build relationships with clients, subcontractors and field teams.
• Partner with field leadership to align PM and on-site execution.
