Chase Construction Group, based in Nashville, seeks an experienced Construction Manager with 3–5 years of commercial construction background to lead projects from pre-construction through closeout.   • Lead and manage all phases of commercial construction projects, from pre-construction through closeout.

  • Forecast manpower, materials and equipment needs to keep projects moving.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, safety, quality and compliance with requirements.
  • Track costs, schedules and milestones and address challenges proactively.
  • Review drawings, specs and contracts to support execution.
  • Ensure regulatory, contractual and safety compliance.
  • Build relationships with clients, subcontractors and field teams.
  • Partner with field leadership to align PM and on-site execution.

Position Summary
U.S. CITIZENSHIP & NASHVILLE-AREA LOCATION REQUIRED

Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and currently located in Tennessee within commuting distance of Nashville to be considered for this position.

We’re seeking an experienced Construction Manager with 3–5 years of commercial construction experience to help lead projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is specifically designed for a construction professional who has built their career in commercial construction and understands the complexities of managing commercial projects, subcontractors, schedules, budgets and client expectations. The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds strong relationships and takes pride in delivering high-quality projects safely, on time and on budget.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and manage all phases of commercial construction projects, from pre-construction and planning through execution and closeout.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, vendors and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement, contracts, change orders and documentation.
  • Forecast manpower, materials and equipment needs to keep projects moving efficiently.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, safety, quality and adherence to project requirements.
  • Track project costs, schedules, milestones and reporting, proactively identifying and addressing potential challenges.
  • Review drawings, specifications and other project documents to support successful project execution.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory, contractual and safety requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, field teams and other project stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with field leadership to ensure alignment between project management and on-site execution.
What You Bring
  • 3–5 years of professional experience managing commercial construction projects.
  • Demonstrated experience working for a commercial general contractor or construction manager.
  • Hands-on experience supporting projects through multiple phases of the commercial construction lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, materials, sequencing, scheduling and project management principles.
  • Experience managing or supporting project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement and documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret commercial construction drawings, specifications and contracts.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build productive relationships with clients, subcontractors, design professionals and field teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
  • Experience with construction technology such as Microsoft Project, Sage 300, CMiC, Bluebeam, PlanGrid and/or Raken is preferred.
Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must currently reside in Tennessee within commuting distance of Nashville.
  • 3–5 years of commercial construction experience is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field preferred.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management training is a plus.
