Job summary

Chase Construction Group, a Nashville-based national general contractor, seeks an Assistant Project Manager to advance commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience with a commercial contractor or major subcontractor and can manage RFIs, submittals, budgets, and documentation.

You will support project planning, cost tracking, subcontractor coordination, and schedule management using industry tools such as Bluebeam,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, budgets, and project documentation.
• Experience reading drawings and specifications across trades (A/E, MEP).
• Understanding of contracts, procurement, and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, track, and manage RFIs, submittals, and project correspondence.
• Review plans, specifications, contracts, and shop drawings.
• Maintain project logs, meeting minutes, and document control systems.
• Assist with project startup, turnover, and closeout documentation.
• Coordinate communications between owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Support procurement, material tracking, and schedule management.
