Job summary

Hillwood Urban in Dallas, Texas, seeks a Construction Manager to join its expanding development team. You will lead pre-construction planning, coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors, and ensure projects meet budgets, schedules, and quality standards.

Reporting to the VP of Construction, you will manage field- and office‑based activities, oversee risk assessments, prepare budgets, review pay applications, and support closeout and turnover to property management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years in commercial construction or related field.
• Experience with tenant improvements, capital projects, or ground-up construction.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-construction budgeting, scheduling, and feasibility.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and municipal agencies.
• Monitor progress, budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Lead project review meetings and report status to leadership.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Closeout activities and turnover to operations.
